The island of Krk offers various possibilities for half-day and whole-day trips. First of all, you can take a tour of the island itself and visit its places like Omisalj, Punat, Baska, Malinska, Krk… Vrbnik on the island of Krk is famous for its vineyards and the autochthonous grape variety called Zlahtina so it is also possible to organize wine tasting tours. Close to Punat, the small island of Kosljun is situated; it is famous for a 600 years old Franciscan monastery and it is proclaimed a forest reserve and a monument of culture.
