It's easy to walk round Porec - though it's a bit of a maze, so if you see something you like in a shop buy it there and then, or you might not find the shop again! We went on an evening boat trip with the company Monvi Tours - this was excellent - very friendly staff, and we even saw dolphins! We'd also recommend the Barolin Wine and Cheese Bar on Nikola Tesla street - for delicious Malvazija wine and a good range of fabulous Istrian cheeses. And excellent Istrian olive oil.

City Poreč is so beautifull city, and so diversable.
City Poreč is so beautifull city, and so diversable. You can have sporty vacation for all the beautiful with bike lanes between Green ian Blue Lagoon, so many walking paths under pine trees, numberous activities. You can be at the beach with lots of activities and loud music, or you can quickly find a quiet privat peace of beach, it really offers you what your heart desires. For the best local food experiance, I suggest Bacchus Vinoteka, in the old part of town.

Our initial impression was negative.
Our initial impression was negative. So much traffic and tourists, and a lot of industry put us off. But the old town blew us away! So full of character, ambience and history. Highly recommended, even if it's just for a day trip.

The restaurants provide little diversity of dishes
The restaurants provide little diversity of dishes
The is surely another way to prepare fish other then on a grill and served with washed out blitva and its not cheap either - low value for money
The shops sell cheap goods and clothing
The overpolulated icecream vendors and lack of healthy alternative
The waiters callling out for customers is ugly
Overall food and accomodation far too expensive relative to quality provided
Poor public WC facilities near city beaches considering tourist population

Beautifull little town with vibrant atmosphere.
Beautifull little town with vibrant atmosphere. The beaches were absolutely well organized and well taken care off. But everything is extremely overpriced and very expensive in compare with the previous year.
The host was great, he even got us a welcome pack. Provided us with baby bed and even baby stuff. He and his wife, are the best. I just don't know how to described our stay with them. The apartment was very clean, it was like a 5 star hotel, very comfortable bed. Everything you need to stay in the apartment is provided, of course except food. And location is very easy, a few minutes of walk to all the beaches around. I will like to stay with them any time I will be visiting Poreč.
The apartment is located in the same building as the restaurant the host is running. The food was delicious and of course the convenience of having a restaurant so close is great. The apartment has recently been remodelled and has been designed with love and attention to detail. We felt very comfortable during our stay and could enjoy the old town of Porec by foot.
We went for Ironman Croatia so needed to be near Playa Laguna by car. We had a large room with balcony. The hotel is in an excellent location so can easily walk to marina and old town and there is land train stop outside. Plenty of parking. Close to beach in good wether and excellent walking or cycling routes.
A nice yard that you can use privately which extends the room dramatically! There are some benches there and a table - we never used one inside! Very nice owner!
Try a nice path to Porec - you don't need a public transport if 30 min under the pine trees next to the sea sounds like a walk for you.
Super location, quiet side street yet 5 min walk to city center.
Contemporary decor, light ,bright, immaculately clean , plush comfortable bed with high quality mattress, large,walk-in shower, charming balcony, fabulous, welcoming hosts!!
Highly recommend this apt. for a memorable stay in Porec!
Very good service and meal at the restaurant. Everyday cleaning. Very good location, the stop of the touristic train is very close, you can reach Porec easily. Good beach for kids and adults near the hotel Parentium. You can try wakeboarding, the station is just in front of the hotel.
good location
great view from balcony
great breakfast
staff very helpful
because we were staying at the Valamar we could get a ferry (free) over to an island which had another Valamar hotel. We also got free umbrella with 2 lounges right on the beach with fantastic swimming.
Green surrounding around the hotel.
Walking distance (20min) to Porec.
Big car park at the hotel.
Price was ok, it is not an expensive hotel, but with the things we didn't enjoy unfortunately it was not value for money.
Free soft drinks and beer and wine at the dinner.
Very nice small house in the garden with private entrance. Everything is very clean and equipped with everything you need. Very quiet area, but very close to the old town of Poreč.
The hosts are very friendly, hospitable and very welcoming.
The personnel were very friendly and helpful if needed. The location is great and the beach is close. We liked the outdoors and ambiance of the hotel very much. There are also squirrels that get close to people if you try to feed them.
very good located, parking the own car was simple and enough places available, Pools in good conditions and clean, reception and hotel-bar did a very good job. Breakfast was better than suggested, The beds were comfortable.
Breakfast (choice of 4 options: omelette, ham and eggs,...etc) was served at a cafe on the beach (with excellent sea views) near the accommodation. And there is a dotto mini train to the old town of Porec.
Large resort which was excellent for families - great water water park and playgrounds
rooms were large enough for a family
Really lovely tourist train from outside hotel to Porec
the apartment was clean and comfortable enough (appreciated the coffee brewer! :) , breakfast at hotel superb, beach was really close & old town Poreč within walking distance.
