It's a great city with pedestrian friendly streets.
It's a great city with pedestrian friendly streets. I mostly enjoyed Trsat Castle, Sablićevo beach and Submarine burger restaurant.
One of the central city locations - Mrtvi kanal - smells bad.
But I think I spent too much time here and I wish I spent more time in Rovinj which was even more amazing.

Dinner at Bistro Molnar was good.
Dinner at Bistro Molnar was good. Location of apartment in relation to public transport also good. Apartment was excellent value as long as you're prepared for the 130 plus stairs up and then down again,

Accomodation is brilliant. Close to the city centre where you can find everything. Beach is also very close if you without a car you can always take a bus and it takes just few minutes to get there... very satisfied. The flat is clean with every supplier you need. Emma is great 🙂 Thanks for a great accomodation through our stay in Rijeka 👍😉

A great historical city with an old town, many restaurants and cafes, and an active cultural life. Excellent opportunities to travel around the area, accessible by public transport: castles, resort towns with excellent beaches and their infrastructure. I recommend taking a boat tour to the nearest islands. Although cards work well, many places only accept cash. I recommend visiting the market, especially in the morning, and if you have the opportunity to cook, buy fresh fish.

Rijeka is a working port so its not the prettiest of places in Croatia. We had a blissful time as we just wanted to read and relax without the hustle and bustle of tourists. We had a hotel right on the water and it was spectacular. Food was cheap and eating out was very reasonable. The town was a real joy and very easy to get around. A great place to commence your journey through beautiful Croatia.

Rijeka is a really good destination for a couple of days.
Rijeka is a really good destination for a couple of days. The centre is walkable and has plenty to show. It's easy to get around what had been Rijeka in history. However it's not so easy to get around what had been Sušak in the period between two world wars. When you come up to Trsat you may dine at Caracca Restaurant. It is also good to eat at the restaurant across the park that separates the Croatian National Theater Ivan pl. Zajc and the market. Prices in Rijeka are reasonable as far as I could see.
The location is very convenient to reach (on foot or by public transportation) both the center of Fiume (Rijeka) and the Trastski Castle. From the house it is also possible to take the bus with which to reach Abbazia (Opatija), a town along the cost that is very beautiful to visit and where there are lovely little pebble beaches where you can swim in a clear, transparent sea. In the kitchen there is almost everything you need. In the house you have available maps, brochures and other very useful tourist information.
Beautiful apartment in a house with your own separate gated entrance. Everything was clean and larger than appears in the pictures. Beds were comfortable and extra long! The hosts were lovely and always available if we had any questions. Apartment is in a nice quiet neighborhood very close to supermarket, bakery, cafes etc. the beaches are 5 min drive away. We really enjoyed our time and next time we are in Rijeka would return here. Thank you for your hospitality!
The old city center location in Rijeka was perfect for exploring the pedestrian area. Paid public parking was only 1 block away. The rooms were spotless, the manager was very friendly and helpful. Everything was touch-free...checkin, checkout. There were many restaurants nearby for food, sweets. There were even Roman ruins right outside the door. The rooms were very comfortable, chairs to relax, great lighting, small fridge and large walkin shower.
The apartment was cozy and the host was very welcoming. Excellent communication, great sight from the balcony, large number of ammenities. Pleasant location with plenty of space for parking and well maintained infrastructure around.
Bus stop a hundred meters away, supermarkets not far away, a great place.
The place is furnished like a home and while not super luxurious, does feel like a home, instead of an anonimous hotel/bnb.
Basically everything, super modern, highly equipped apartment.
The owners are very friendly and caring. They thought of even the smallest detail, I felt like I am staying at 5 ⭐ hotel.
They offer you a welcome drink, champaign. Also surprised us with some delicious pancakes for dinner, and some donuts at our last day.
We really appreciate everything, and highly recommend it:)!
The hotel is situated near the very center of the town of Rijeka (Fiume). Very important feature of the Hotel "Neboder" is a free-of-charge parking - either in the Hotel's garage or directly in the front of the entrance to the Hotel.
The personnel is very kind. Buffet-type breakfast is very abundant.
Generally, it was a lovely stay.
Affordable hostel with sea views. It was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves on the shore. Rijeka was experience terrible rain and some flooding when I visited so the wifi was down, but I imagine it usually works fine. Other visitors during my stay were very friendly and helpful and reception staff is lovely
The hotel was beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the terrace off of our room. The infinity pool was incredible, and the pool bar was excellent. The breakfast buffet had everything imaginable for Americans and Europeans alike. The view from our room was just gorgeous!
The apartment was very beautiful and had all the conditions that a vacationer might need, it was like a 5-star hotel.
Balcony overlooking the sea, kitchen, even ingredients for cooking food. I want to thank the owner of the apartment once again and wish him only success.
The apartment was nice and clean, had an absolutely amazing terrace with the see view and a beach in 10 min. It is located between Rijeka and Opatija and takes 20-30 min by bus to get to either, so unless you need to go to the city every day, the location is perfect
The location is good, very clean. The owner is very friendly and pleasant. He met us and treated us to drinks. When leaving the hotel I was given a small present, which was very nice. If we go to Rijeka, then only to this hotel. I recommend:)))
It was cozy new apartments in Rijeka neighborhood, very quiet and peaceful, hosting family were very helpful, so we enjoyed our stay in David Apartments, hope to visit again :) host dog Mara was so sweet, our kids fall in love with her :)
Absolutely everything.
It's a small cozy apartment just 5 min from Korzo.
It has everything you need from the facilities, it's beautifully decorated, peaceful.
I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Rijeka.
The beauty of the location, the bed so comfortable, the astonishing bathrom and the b&b Is so close to the center! A plenty of pubs , restaurant and the manager Is a really kind and professional One,so nice!
This is a room in a private flat. It is comfortable, but is probably not to be compared with a hotel. As there are only two people in the flat one does need to liaise with them about arrival times.
Location is very good if you want to go to the beaches. But for to go to the city, you need to take the bus. In Rijeka, the bus system is a bit intransparent for tourists, but in the end, we managed.
Nice appartment with a new furniture and astonished view! Accomadation manager was super wilingfull and we could checkin as well as checkout in different hours, thanks!
